Hi, we are Amber and Pedro. We’ve dedicated our lives to working with all breeds and ages of dogs for over 20 years as dog trainers in Europe and Palm Beach County, Florida. We’ve helped thousands of families and their beloved dogs. Our job has been incredibly rewarding, though not without its challenges. One persistent concern has been the prevalence of dry kibble as dog food. We understand what kibble is, but more importantly, we recognize what it lacks. The cooking process for kibble—typically at temperatures ranging from 200°F to 280°F—destroys essential vitamins and nutrients, leaving behind little more than dust. Additionally, kibble often contains synthetic colors, supplements, vitamins, and preservatives.
Recently, there’s been a positive shift in the market. New dog food options have emerged that go beyond traditional kibble. Some even require refrigeration. However, these alternatives still involve cooking and the addition of synthetic vitamins and nutrients. Unfortunately, dogs don’t absorb these synthetics as effectively as natural vitamins and nutrients, leading to potential deficiencies.
Recognizing the need for a better approach, our journey began in 2023. We collaborated with the country’s top nutritionists, inviting them to join us in this mission. Susan and her team embraced the project with the same love and dedication we have. Today, we’re proud to offer the best recipes on the market. Our complete meals are formulated to meet not only AAFCO and NRC standards but also the more stringent European parameters set by FEDIAF. These parameters ensure that all of a dog’s nutritional needs are met with all the nutrients provenient from fresh food without any synthetics added.
Preserving our food was another critical consideration. We didn’t want a product with a short shelf life, nor did we want to take up valuable fridge space for our clients. Our solution: freeze-drying. Also known as lyophilization, this process retains up to 99% of a food’s original nutrients. By using a cold vacuum to extract water from frozen produce, we avoid damaging micronutrients and phytonutrients. In fact, rehydrated freeze-dried foods are remarkably similar in nutritional value to fresh foods.
Of course, this approach requires significant investment in machinery and space to meet hygiene requirements. We also maintain a lab to test for any bacteria, ensuring the safety of our food. While it’s been a slow process, we’re committed to making it happen. Join our project and be part of providing dogs with the food they truly deserve!
